BMI

Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of the weight of a person scaled according to their height. It was developed in the mid 1800s and is still used today. BMI provides a simple numeric measure of a person's "fatness" or "thinness". This measurement is not necessarily accurate when used on atheletes or physically active people.
